Escape to a beach camping getaway on the beautiful Spanish island of Ibiza with this terrific quilt made in four or seven simple steps. The setting looks complicated, but the unique blocks do all the work to create the center and concentric rows of stars and beach dunes. Our sample features Tonga Ibiza fabric designed by Daniela Stout for Timeless Treasures.
Pattern includes directions for two finished sizes: Throw (72" x 72") or Queen (98" x 98").
We feature the tube technique of the Strip Tube Ruler™ or Strip Tube Junior™ to complete the half-square triangles that make most of the blocks. While we give instructions to use a standard square-up ruler, our Strip Tube Rulers make things much easier and can be used on many additional projects by Cozy Quilt Designs®.
